Juniors

Welcome to the Junior Section (school years 4-10)

It started with 25 members back in 2010 for children in school years 5, 6 and 7 who were able to train once a week at the ‘Everyone Active’ leisure centre in Blandford.

In the last decade, we have increased both the number of members, as well as the age groups we cater for. In September 2016, we introduced our newest age group to training with us, our school year 3 and 4s.

This section has been at the forefront of the club’s success and we have members playing in junior friendlies, leagues and tournaments, as well as in our local adult league. Currently, we have 2 junior teams who play in the adult league.

Once the girls start in year 7, and where appropriate, we are able to offer them the chance to join the England Netball Pathway, firstly at satellite level (years 7-8) and then to county level (years 9-10).

We are incredibly proud of the fact that, in the last few years, we have regularly seen players attending satellite, county, and regional (Team Bath and Severn Stars) training squads.
